I nearly choked on my snacks while reading that! And these are big cheese balls that I'm trying to enjoy and consume right now. Their winning percentage is so much better than the Knicks though. Now maybe you can have a toxic environment and still make the playoffs eight straight years. Which is currently the longest active streak in the NBA. I'll take a toxic culture with the Houston Texans if it means being in the playoffs every year!

Texans....

The laughing stock of the NFL for 18 years and counting. Probably caused me to age twice as fast since 2002.
They have more playoff wins than the Lions, Browns and Cowboys in that time. It doesn't make me feel better.
The last time the Dallas Cowboys won a Super Bowl was in 1995. Same year the Rockets last won the NBA Finals!

I think the cheeseballs are doing that.

Maybe. But they also saved me. Kept me sane during the toughest times. Just like Diablo II did. Played it for 20.5 years!

A person familiar with James Harden’s thinking described the Rockets’ culture as toxic and called them the “Knicks of the South.”

The Golden State Warriors are no longer interested in James Harden, per @MontePooleNBCS

Proint, what is this nonsense about the Warriors no longer being interested in trading for James Harden?
I have a major problem with that. You will be very interested and offer up a magnificent haul. Just do it!

If James Harden is traded it will be next off-season anyway. He can potentially enter the final year on his contract next summer. That will be before he actually has some real leverage and can opt out and become an unrestricted free agent. Since he's turned down a two-year, $103M extension already I highly doubt he's going to "opt in" for that third year remaining. Right now there's nothing Harden can do except show up and be professional! He's got to stop living the dream at the strip clubs, stirring up drama and honor his contract.

I still believe in James Harden but right now it's difficult for me to defend his actions. He's not giving me a reason to give him another free pass.

Sources tell ⁦@TheAthletic⁩ that this isn’t the first time James Harden has asked to be built a championship team or trade him to one.

But the burning question still remains as his absence continues: What does James Harden really want?

Official at last:

Philadelphia has this morning traded Al Horford, a 2025 first-round pick and the draft rights to Theo Maledon and Vasilije Micic to Oklahoma City for Danny Green, Terrance Ferguson and Vincent Poirier ...

The Sixers also created an $8.1 million trade exception

Harden’s been toxic as he’s ran out players & coaches alike, but “Knicks of the South” ??

Nah
