You act like LA is special, it's not 2007, our franchise is at the bottom. We need to rebuild through the draft not give up assets for half a year rent. All Lakers know is to add players for draft picks because we used to be a winning team and title contenders. We are not that anymore we can't trade for people right now.

It's a whole process to rebuild and we are not even close. We need to get players in the draft and build assets like the Celtics and 76ers. Once we get enough Good players we can try to get a superstar in FA and build from that.

You don't want to get your Super Star for just a Half year where he can just walk away. Sign your Superstar in FA and lock him up.
