Embiid was a 77% FT shooter his first two seasons playing in the NBA. His last 3 seasons (including this year) he's shot 86%, 82%, and 86%. That's on par with Yao Ming's best seasons (right around 86%). Embiid is now every bit as good of a FT shooter as Yao ever was at his best, and he shoots a lot more of them. At this rate, Embiid's career FT% will surpass Yao's eventually.
