I've seen one trade suggestion for the Rockets and Bucks this summer.
Rockets get Giannis + whatever other player the Bucks may throw in.
Bucks get Jalen Green, Cam Whitmore, Reed Sheppard, Jabari Smith Jr. and three firsts.
That's way too much. And I wouldn't give up the Suns 2025 lottery pick if ends up #1 overall.
Also I'm not sure if Sengun, Giannis and Amen can win us a 'chip. We'd still need shooters. Great team but still noticeably flawed.
Just like the 1997 Houston Rockets. Had Olajuwon, Barkley, Drexler. But lost to the Utah Jazz in the Western Conference Finals.
That team, specifically, just didn't have a legitimate point guard. Matt Maloney was meh, and they could've used more shooters.
So much easier to acquire Kevin Durant. He'd old with a massive salary but he can shoot and would be cheaper to acquire than Giannis.
Anyway. I'm focused on Game 6 Friday night in the Bay. We don't have to focus on the off-season just yet. We're not the Lakers.
