I was thinking about how the early season is always unpredictable, and one of the reasons is how a fresh slate gives teams a sense of hope that they’re more willing to go all out. Once reality starts to set in, teams like the Bulls, Hawks, and Nets will actively try to tank more games to get draft positioning
