I said if the Celtics have 2 out of 3 things go wrong for them in the playoffs, they'll lose before the Finals

those 3 things were:

Brogdon degenerative foot injury keeping him out
RW III being injured
Horford no longer dipping into the fountain of youth

pretty much all 3 of those things reared their heads at the same time against Miami

that and their coach is a green pea. I don't think he deserves to be fired, they should keep him and let him grow IMO

JB was certainly the biggest issue. He completely failed not only against the Heat but in the playoffs entirely. Rob was completely fine. Yeah Brogdons injury hurt badly and Horford no longer being the impactful player he was didn’t help either. Ultimately it all came down to Tatums ankle roll in game 7 though. All this stuff potentially becomes irrelevant if Tatum can freely move and isn’t absolutely picked apart in isolation every single possession

Agreed. Celtics fans are pretty hard on Mazulla but he didn’t pretty damn well for his first season as HC
