After the procedure to clean out his bone spurs, Wall ruptured his Achilles after slipping at home. Looking at a 12 month recovery period.

Wall was already going to bring less value than his contract was worth. Now he'll be older and less athletic than before.

Seems like a good time to ship any and all assets and rebuild while eating Wall's contract. But knowing Grunfeld and Leonsis, we'll probably trade a first round pick for DeAndre Jordan and gun for that 8 seed instead...

The real question is what does Grunfeld want.

He can't even get his plan straight with Porter: https://twitter.com/KeithSmithNBA/status/1092774152686190592

Lots of confusion on Porter. Some teams have called and been told no. Others have been told, we'll see. It seems to come and go with how the Wizards are playing. Lose a couple, they listen. Win a couple, he's off the table. Weird situation in Washington to say the least.

Our cap is utterly fucked for next year, and Porter hasn't played well. If you can trade Porter for anything, you do it. I'd happily take Evan Turner if we had to (Blazers were showing interest iirc)
