I hate Byron Scott. Kobes 20th season and you don't give him the opening night game winner?

I'm a huge Byron Scott critic but he ran an excellent play to the end the game that got Lou Will a mostly uncontested layup at the rim. He hits that shot 9 out of 10 times but unfortunately that was the 1/10. Yet people are complaining that the game didn't end in an obligatory contested Kobe fadeaway from near halfcourt and are blaming Byron for it

Was he even trying to call timeout after Randle got the rebound? 4.4 seconds wasted because the idiot had 3 timeouts and wasn't sure if he should use one. Draw up a play and call timeout again if they can't get a good pass in. Lets not even talk about not giving Kobe the shot. Scott is truly a moron.

Was a dope game... Lakers pretty much gave them that W....Too many fouls/no d entire 3rd q
Randle/Hibbert/Clarkson had a good game
Kobe was doing work 1st half
D.Russ....didn't really do much 2early fouls within the 1st quarter idk (still think lakers shoulda drafted Okafor)
Lou/Nick were nice
Marcelo had a nice play

Everyone wants kobe to take the shot...

He's getting paid 25 mil and he's the best player on the team.

When Byron has him taking the ball out with 4 secs left he effectively eliminates kobe.

Play did look decent, I just want a Kobegod game winner please.

Tbh if we had mwp i think we would of done better in the 3rd... Artest brings energy and that's what the lakers need

Hey we put up over 100 points and Kobe scored 24 points on 24 shots, business as usual.
No turnovers for Kobe though

Imo Scott didn't want to call a timeout. Randle was going coast to coast and just wanted to drive. Kobe didn't like it, and said: "fck off Scott, let me coach"

Either you call a timeout right away or you let it play out. Wasted too much time and gave Minny the opportunity to make changes to the lineup.

Scott is just a muppet anyway, might aswell fire him and let Kobe be player coach.

lakers shoud have 100% drafted Okafor over Russell, i mean Clarkson proved last year he can be the main PG
