In the National Basketball Association, a rookie is any player who has never played a game in the NBA until that year.

If you can go back to the Sixers defeat to the Raptors last year and had to make the decision on whether to keep Butler and trade Simmons, what team would you send Simmons too?

I would not have traded Simmons over Butler lmao. Stop it.

There are few players I'd trade Simmons for, but a player on the wrong side of 30 is not one of them no matter how good Butler is playing. There's no way i'm biting that bullet and trading an All-Star, All-Defense, All-NBA player at the age of 23 before he even sniffs his prime.

As much as it pains me to say it, and while i don't want either to go, if i had a gun to my head i'm trading Embiid before Simmons because of the higher risk with his size/injuries and likeliness that he falls off at an earlier age down the road (as most big men do). Simmons is already really fucking good, but he isn't even in his top gear which is scary. With that said, I want both of them to stick around and I hope whatever coach we choose can make the fit of players around them work because this team needs outside SHOOTING and off-ball movement around them.

No thanks

Dude was straight ass in the playoffs and the overrated Clippers bench is one of the main reason they lost.

He has a similar issue to JJ Redick where they just get abused in the playoffs.

If we just surrounded Embiid/Simmons with a few Covingtons/PJ Tuckers/Jae Crowder type players they're at least in the ECF every year.

No need overrated offensive scorers that doesn't do anything else.

Instead we're stuck with SG's who takes 10 years to take a 3, a backup center, and a 185million player that passes up 3's over a drive and mid range pull up.

Difference is JJ is a starter where as Lou accepts that 6th man role. Easier to hide him at times. Plus, Lou creates for himself and others a bit unlike JJ who does neither so JJ doesn't solve the issue of having no creators.

Also, he was ass against the Clippers. Against the Mavs he averaged 16/4/3 and shot over 50% from the field. Dude is a certified bucket getter off the bench.

Lou is the exact type of shot creator this bench needs though, shit that this team needs. Not to mention he isn't afraid to hit big shots. I'd take him in a heartbeat for the right price someone that isn't afraid to make something happen when the easy shot isn't there.

He has hit a lot of game winners in his career but my favorite game winner of course was this though. Not that we stood a chance in that series against the big 3 of the Heat but still
