Alright guys, here's where it's at. This year, we're not getting any major player in free agency, and that's good. Next year, we keep our pick if it's top 3. This means we're gonna have to suck even harder unless we get lucky again (unlikely).
Fast forward to 2016 draft. We have D'Angelo Russell coming off a good rookie season (seriously, if Kobe goes down, he should be the ROTY), Randle showing his freak injury last year was just that, a freak injury (praying).
On our books, we have D'Angelo on his rookie contract, Nick Young at 5.4m and Randle at 3.2m. That's it, We'll be able to offer two guys max contracts in 2016. Add a top 3 draft pick, we'll be sitting with PG ROTY D'Angelo Russell, Randle and who knows, maybe the future goat Ben Simmons? Now that's going to attract free agents.

In 2016, we can go after (unrestricted free agents) Al Jefferson, Joakim Noah, Brandon Jennings, Mike Conley, Jeff Green, Hassan Whiteside, Luol Deng, OJ Mayo, Eric Gordon, KEVIN DURANT, Dwight Howard (early termination option, but roflmao wouldn't this be the most hillarious thing EVER?) and DeMar Derozan (also ETO).
Also, unlikely, but we can always offer good contracts to (restricted free agents) Chandler Parsons (player option, highly unlikely but if Mavs implode...), Andre Drummond, Harrison Barnes (how will GSW keep all their players?) and Bradley Beal.

It's a pretty strong class, And if we strike out completely that year, we'll be bad again, and perhaps have another top 3 pick in 2017.
Add that together with the crazy cap increase and we could be looking at potentially signing three NEW max free agents. Now that would be something, wouldn't it?
