This is very difficult for me to discuss this morning but I just want to get it out there.
The recent play of the Houston Rockets has been very disappointing to me to say the least.
1-4 in our last 5 games. We're now 26-15 on the season and in the 6th seed.
If the playoffs started today we'd play the 3rd seeded Clippers in the first round!
During this skid our shooting has been inconsistent, even Harden is shooting around 35 %, and our defense is nonexistent.
A couple games Harden has shot 29 and 25 % from the field and scored only 13 points and 17 points. Losses to Portland/OKC.
When our best player is struggling that explains the 1-4 record. But also our depth is weak and it's just not working right now.
Mike D'Antoni has overplayed an aging P.J. Tucker (he'll be 35 in May). He should be the one seeing load management.
Russell Westbrook has played well during this stretch but his performances go to waste in losses. Clint Capela is still a beast inside.
I just hope the Rockets can win at home against the Thunder tomorrow afternoon. 4 p.m. start time during the MLK Holiday.
TL:DR - I'm not hiding. It's just been a rough two-week stretch for all of Houston sports. It's difficult for me to discuss!
The funny thing is Bill O'Brien may outlast both A.J. Hinch and Mike D'Antoni. Unbelievable! He needs to go the most.
Yo, rockets are straight garbage, you never gettin a dn8 from me again to bet on them and against my team, your meds are short.
