How easily people forget how Dray carried when Curry was out before we had KD lol.. so easily they forget. & I agree Cal’s sentiments.

So you don't think Draymond Green benefits from feeding Klay those passes either? Klay plays a role, and even if he normally does catch and shoot, both players benefit greatly from GSW.

You can't have it both ways. Yes, Green is an excellent player. I take back my previous comment, because a lot of players have been underwhelming this year. Dray is a top 15 player, but he shares the same spot as Klay. Yes the GSW wouldn't be the defensive juggernaut, but even without Dray, they would still outscore most teams.

Doesn't change the fucking original point of the thread, which is that Draymond isn't a top 10 player.

Dude I don't get your problem lol. I place a premium on defense. Tray is the best defender in the league and I take his defense over Kawhi, although both are amazing players.

I take Butler and KAT in front of Draymond. KAT for potential and high ceiling and Butler for being an awesome two way player.

YOU acting like top 15 is bad lol.

Top 7 to me is superstar status like Harden, AD, Giannis, Curry, KD, Westbrook and LeBron.

If Dray could shoot the 3 pointer at a 35% clip (league average) then he's a top 10 player ahead of KAT. Still think peoplle underestimate Butler though..

The way I see it.
Top 5 is franchise player
Top 10 superstar
Top 20 all star player

He clearly belongs in top 20.

offensively
Draymond clearly benefits from his system. On any other team he would still be giving an amazing effort on defense but honestly he's a sub 30% 3 pt (on open as hell threes) shooter who can't create a shot for himself. Averages most assists on team (honestly kinda inflated when he has 3 of the best shooters in the league. He can't really finish that well around the rim honestly

He's plays the same role as iggy on offense at times, usually point center tho so durant and curry don't have to handle but rather play off screens. also let's him always be in position to get back on defense

defensively
guards 1-5, excellent on switches and covering warriors defensive collapses

He makes contenders great, but isn't going to be the one to turn around a 20 win team Into a 50 win team like these top 10 players can. There are so just so many stellar bigs atm

I have a hard time placing KAT and Butler both in the top 10 when the Wolves barely made the playoffs and will get swept in the first round.
