Huh? In 2021 the Suns were the #2 seed and knocked off the #3 (Nuggets), #4 (Clippers) and #7 (Lakers). No way that compares to the cupcake bye the Celtics had last season rofl.

Also, I fucking hate the Knicks but how are they flukey? That lineup is stacked and they have an absolute DAWG in Brunson. The Celtics are a soft jump shooting team who lack that killer #1 player.

They knocked the Lakers without AD and Lebron playing hurt, Nuggets without Murray and Clippers without Kawhi...

The Suns since 2021 never won a playoff series without the opponent's best or second best player being injured.

Those 1 point wins after being down 20 and now Tatum injured are the reasons why I say they are flukey as fuck. The better team isn't winning the series, which is a fluke.

AD played the first 4 games of that series and they were tied 2-2.

But yes, how are those injuries worse than what the Celtics faced? The Clippers without Kawhi were still nasty with PG (knocked off the #1 seed the round prior), and the Nuggets still had Jokic.

The Celtics played the Heat without Butler, the Cavs without Allen the whole series and without Mitchell for half the series, and then the Pacers (who had no business being in the ECF's if it wasn't for the entire Knicks team being injured) without Haliburton after the first 2 games. The best player on the opposing team in every round missed half or all of the entire series. All that in a weaker conference too.

Celtics got a bye to the finals last season. Then they get demolished by a healthy Knicks team this year. Nobody is surprised.

AD got hurt in game 4 actually and they were leading prior to him going down.

Playoff Murray is nasty as hell bro the Nuggets without him don't stand much of a chance in the Playoffs.

Homie averaged like 30/10/5 and shot 42% from 3pt in that series. Straught up finished the #1 seed off after Kawhi went down and everyone thought they were screwed. Not really surprising considering he puts up better (or similar) numbers in the playoffs than he does in the regular season historically throughout his career.

Knicks are definitely better than the C's though. They were better last season too, they all just got injured at the wrong time. They have actual dawgs and they scrap. The Celtics are soft. They've been soft. They jack up a boat load of threes and play inconsistent defense. When those threes aren't falling they don't know what to do. Spray and pray tactic. Definition of an overrated team without a real leader. Tatum isn't him, he shows up once every few games when they need him most if they're lucky (has a history of not showing up early in the series). Celtics fans will still suck JT off and call him top 5 though.

If JT was in a small market organization with limited talent around him he'd be nowhere near as hyped as he is now. Hes a overhyped Danny Granger/Rudy Gay blend surrounded by really good players and a big name org.
