I dont get why they drafted two guards then their biggest sign is FVV. Maybe they are going to make a deal with the Cavs/Pistons?

From how FVV contract is looking there is room next year for Toronto to position to make a super max offer.

The Giannis thing is after this year not right now.



Gasol had a top 10 defensive rating last season so he makes a tremendous impact while still in the game.

TOR: 22.6/year over 5 years

I’m not sure of the Gasol situation with TOR but it was a no brainer for LA to sign him.

You made a comment that made no sense. He’s not getting a bag of money to ride the bench, he’s getting a vet min deal to join the defending champions who already have 3-4 viable post players. He’s there to specifically play defense and initiate offense when on the court which he can sure ask hell still do. As I said I agree you paying him 10x what we are doesn’t make sense but a min deal is a win for him so calling him washed is a joke, he will contribute like he did last year.
