Shake is staying, that kid is on a dirt cheap long term contract and balled out this season. Basically had no considerable experience in the NBA prior to this season too.

And he's an absolute sharpshooter. Gotta get stronger and focus on a few weaknesses but all in all he's gonna be legit. Just isn't a full time PG right now because he needs to get stronger facing up against physical defense. Also needs to improve defensively of course. As a shooter though he'l was one of the best in the league this season in terms of 3pt efficiency.

Thybulle should work on his three this off-season and come back as a more capable offensive player etc.

These young guys are promising for sure, they can't be blamed in the playoffs when they're performing more than guys on $100M+ contracts.

Yeah this was an overreaction lol. I do like Milton, Thybulle, Burks moving forward. Tobias was absolutely brutal this series, but I dont actually want them to try and move on from him (though many fans do). It was a bad string of games, it happens.

Things appeared a lot worse than they actually are without Ben, but the sweep was just so disheartening.

If they try to move Horford, which will be very difficult..I think it would take either Milton/Thybulle/Draft assets, or something of solid value. I know multiple teams do salary dumps every year, but the fact that there's 3 years left on Horfords deal makes this really tough. Or, do they just try and move forward with him and let the next coach try to figure it out

It's not a bad string of games, it's two years in a row where his performance has been absolute dog shit in the playoffs.

If he played 1 good game vs the raptors(not much to ask your 35mil player) last year, we'd probably be the champions

Fuck Tobias, thief. Now why we realized he keeps bouncing from team to team even though he's nearly a 50/40/90 player. Only we were stupid enough to fucking give him 180million even though we saw how much balls he sucked in the playoffs.

That's a bit of a stretch
You're saying this coach you want fired would be able to replicate what 2 time coach of the year Nick Nurse did to not only neutralize Giannis but also outcoach Kerr?
Not to mention Klay and Durant both going down

I think Brett Brown out coached Nick Nurse last year in the playoffs. Putting Tobias on Gasol, Embiid on Siakam. Stuff like that. Kawhi was just too good.

Obviously the championship part is if the exact same things happened to the warriors(durant and klay going down).

I think we match up really well against the Bucks. Could go the distance. Playoff Budenholzer vs Brett Brown, anything can happen.

Sixers are expected to let go Brett Brown, according to @ShamsCharania

Candidates according to Shams

Jay Wright
Ty Lue
76ers assistant Ime Udoka
Kings coach Dave Joerger

Jay Wright????? I don't see him leaving Nova for this, but that would be incredible if he made that move.

Can't see Jay Wright as the new coach though I would like this, he's got it too good at Nova. Not sure who the ideal candidate is. Really hope Elton Brand is out too.

The Philadelphia 76ers fired coach Brett Brown, sources tell ESPN.

Brown’s dismissal is expected to be a precursor for more upheaval with the 76ers, whose senior leadership – including general manager Elton Brand -- will begin exploring changes in the front office structure, sources said.

The franchise's plan is that Brand will continue to oversee basketball operations, sources said, but the personnel and structure in the front office is undergoing significant evaluation and change is looming.

Among the Sixers senior leadership, there's still a strong desire to keep the franchise's two young All-Stars -- Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons -- together, sources said. The Sixers are determined to let a new coaching staff search for ways to maximize Embiid and Simmons together before even entering into a discussion on trade scenarios.

The Sixers plan for a head coach will focus on LA Clippers assistant Ty Lue, sources said.

Beautiful

That's what I like to hear

Do not trade Embiid or Simmons, and let a new head coach bring a new system in to actually make things work properly.

BB lost me when he said he didn't like the idea of going 4 out around Embiid but prefered to always have a guy in the "dunkers spot"
