actually surprisingly, even with no clear cut offensive plan besides giving Kobe the ball (and i only say they need to fix it because the rest of the team look like lost puppies), the Lakers are ranked like 9th in offensive rating in the league, and they probably need to fix their defense a lot more before fixing their broken offense.

Smith and Hardaway are still learning triangle offense... well Anthony isn't super effective right now either...

honestly the lakers have won the 1 game i expected them to win, i mean their schedule has been rough to start out and does not get much better in the near future

rarely is one's shot selection perfect. and when you're a sg who averages upwards of 20 shots a game on your career, you're going to be relied on - particularly with a lackluster roster

i dont think this roster (even without rookie randle and nash) is worse than a couple of the campaigns the lakers set out post-shaq, its just they have a MUCH older kobe. not the 81 pter who can will them to the a game 7 vs one of the fanciest offenses since showtime (PHX a le nash/amare/matrix/barbosa etc)

this team WILL end up around .500 im certain, barring (more) injuries

kobe's fg% can only go up from here..... once the team figures one another out
