i watched the last 2 lakers game cause i just so happen to be in LA this past few days and friends (who are big lakers fan) got some cheap tickets for the Suns game. I saw the Warriors game on tv.
when lin/price and even clark tries to run the princeton offense, kobe just takes his post and ask for the ball. when the ball is dumped to kobe and there is a double team, he suppose to dish it back out, or to the back side for open lane/3, which he did do a few times, but 80% of the time he just takes the turnaround j.
in pick and roll situation, kobe suppose to slide to the corner 3 for better spacing for the pg, but he always sit at the 20 feet mark expecting a pass, which he gets because his defender sags out to defend the pnr, and he takes the shot again. this happened at least 4 times in the 2 games.
the fact is when players pass kobe the ball, 80% of the time it stops there, he doesnt pass it back or make a second pass.
a couple of those 37 misses today were missed putback near the rims, but seriously he was chucking like crazy and missed a few key shots in the final minutes.
