Jimmy Butler is all the talk around here, no one mentioning Cousins anymore really

Butler would be SO much better for you guys. I mean, you guys could use a top tier big, but Butler is underrated even as an All-Star. Cousin is just poison. I'm happy for the Kings that they got rid of him, even if they're taking a loss to do it. I still think the Kings organization sucks right now, but they just took a major step toward rebuilding.

Boston, by contrast, is one of my favourite teams, from top to bottom. I wouldn't want them to be disgraced by the presence of Cousins. Butler has his own issues, but I think you can work with him.

Meh, I wish the Celtics and Raps could just merge into a superteam.

You guys got the best out of Rondo's career and you had Doc there--that's impressive. Doc's the kind of guy a player could clash with really badly.

Another thing I like about the Celts is that they take a closer look at personality/brain type than post teams--they're innovators in that dimension. Rondo was at least a really smart player. But Boogie ... picking him up would go directly against the team's DNA. There's only so much your (awesome) coach could do to prep Cousins. I don't think he'd stick with the program.

I'm not saying Butler is brilliant or that he's a great guy, but he's passionate and physically talented as well as skilled. He'd be worth a shot. Plus he helps at both ends and can guard a few positions. The Celts are a Giannis or a Davis and a few years away from a ship. Cousins would only bring you down.
