What beautiful company.

.....but what was his FG%

Are you a casual? FG% is literally the only thing that matters in basketball. Anything else a player does is completely irrelevant.

I might have been able to understand what he is going through were he a Bucks fan...he must hate every single player in the NBA that has ever made it past round 2.

I don't believe I have ever used the stat since it's meaningless, but I know you love it, so maybe you can look into this for me.
It's pretty long, but it's Tatum related, so I know you have plenty of time.
A discussion between 2 people.

"Here are some top guys and the percentage of playoff games where they score 40+ and 30+ points.

Embiid
40+: 3%
30+: 36%

Giannis:
40+: 10%
30+: 42%

Jokic
40+: 6%
30+: 40%

Tatum
40+: 4%
30+: 26%

Do we want to look at record in those games?

Embiid 11-10
Giannis 20-13
Jokic 17-15
Tatum 20-9

How about when those points matter most?

In elimination games:

Embiid 11G 23.3ppg on 50ts
Giannis 12G 23.8ppg on 55ts.
Jokic 13G 26.8ppg on 60ts
Tatum 17G 26.5ppg on 57ts

In closeout games:

Embiid 10G 21.7ppg on 56ts
Giannis 10G 32ppg on 62ts
Jokic 16G 30ppg on 62ts
Tatum 22G 24.3ppg on 62ts

Are these accurate or meaningless?

Again, these aren't mine but they looked good

Here is the most Important stat
100x more valuable than TS

In the 7 years Jayson Tatum has been in the NBA, he has never missed a playoff game (played 113) and has missed only 41 of 554 regular season games.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that not everyone can be a champion at the ripe age of 19 like Jayson Tatum

This is literally helping what I'm saying...

Tatum gets carried.

Thank you for doing all that work just to help prove my point.

Pretty much just helping our case. Regardless of how Tatum plays this year, the Celtics still win

Guy shot 12-for-38 (3-14 PT) in the first two games as the Celtics won easily and went up 2-0. What real superstar can get away with that? Dude just chucks, leads the team in shot attempts by a huge margin and is the most inefficient.

Don't tell us about his defense either. Guy is like the 4th best defender on his own team.

Its not a reach to say they could have very well won without him lmao ๐Ÿ˜‚
