No need to pull the trigger. The product the team has right now is entertaining enough. That's the reality.

Siakam is essentially on the best max contract in the NBA (4 year REGULAR max), no player option. Still have another full year after this one. Literally 0 reason to trade him. FVV is a premier ball handler in the NBA and he is only 20 mil a year. WE couldnt trade up for anyone at that much money.

We have Scotty Barnes who is going to be a Raptor for life and the face of the NBA in a couple years, why get rid of the rings around him i.e mentorship and proven ability, and replace it with naive rookies.

Fun fact, if The Raptors made their free throws, we would be something like 35-17 or something. its actually a nuts stat


Masai just traded dashboard change for Jakob Poetl who is a perfect fit for us as a 5. Poetl scored 30 points the other day and Fred Van Vleet got a career high 15 assists in Poetls like 3rd game back... FVV finally has someone to pick and pop with. Actually a very exciting time for the Raps right now. We got our Boy back. Every true Raps fan felt it was going to happen eventually. Everyone likes Poetl more than Derozan. So its a great time in the North right now.

I think our ceiling is second round, and thats okay. That is a way better season than watching these players underperform just for another bust. Zion hasnt changed the league.
