When someone is assaulting another person with a deadly weapon (attempted murder) anyone (including police) has every right to use equally deadly force to DEFEND the person being attacked.

The cop showed up, saw someone with a knife assaulting another person, and eliminated the threat and saving the life of the person being attacked. 10/10 job well done, couldn't do his job any better tbh.

if you just look at the data the U.S cops kill an absurd amount of people. Becuase they are poorly trained individual plebs that think its okay to kill people, living in a land where propaganda gets the civilians to think its okay for cops to kill people. Assuming all else equal in Canada data from 2017 shows 38 people died to cops. adjusting for population difference thats about 380 deaths by cops in the year if Canada had the population of U.S.... U.S had over 1800 that year.

TERRIBLE example using India in this case....they have some of the strictest gun laws in the world. So of course police don't need to kill as often, because their citizens aren't fucking carrying guns like people do in America. When the people you're policing are armed to the teeth like they are in the U.S. you're going to have a MUCh higher chance of needing to use deadly force when things get out of hand. India police don't have to deal with citizens who have guns like U.S. police do, their job is fucking easy compared to here lol.

The U.S. has just 4% of the worlds population, yet we have 40% of the civilian-owned guns globally. Far and away the most guns per capita, and it's not even close. U.S. citizens are their own army in itself.

As I mentioned before, a citizen in the U.S. has EVERY right to defend themselves with deadly force when someone is attacking them with a deadly weapon. To imply otherwise is just crazy. When that cop pulled up he watched a woman with a deadly weapon trying to kill another woman, and he reacted with deadly force as he should to save the life of the woman being attacked.
