No, I don't. At least not yet.
I mean AD and Giannis are both getting there, but if we're talking about accomplished careers I think they both have more work to do. Giannis had an insane regular season obviously, but how does he go down in history as the all-time great who always led his team to the best record in the league, won MVP and DPOy in the same year but always fell apart early in the playoffs....
At least AD added a ring to his resume, even if it was against a shit opponent in a weird bubble playoffs.
Then again, as I mentioned before the era that Jordan and Scottie played in was kind of watered down, so the argument can go both ways. It's hard to compare eras, but Scottie was one of the best in his era and is definitely an all-time great.
There are easily 20 basketball players all-time that you would pick before any iteration of Pippen, that's the point I'm trying to make. His prime stacked up against all of the career primes of the greats, Pippen is conservatively top 50 but anything over top 40 is probably a stretch.
Career vs prime is a key distinction in the all-time debates. Obviously people who value longevity are going to side with KAJ and LeBron. To me it's hard to argue with Jordan's peak scoring numbers while keeping in mind that if you implanted Jordan into 2020 NBA he probably drops 50 on a consistent basis.
