6-29 of that was from three-point range. I'm just glad the Houston Rockets went 1-1 during the two road games.
By comparison, Harden shot 6-12 threes (50 %) and 13-24 field goals (54.2 %) in last Friday's win over the 76ers.

An OKC Thunder fan tried to debate me on Twitter that the Rockets weren't a legitimate championship contender but I quickly put them in their place. Being a contender is subjective. All it truly means is playing your best in the playoffs. If the Rockets step up in the playoffs with a likely top 3 seed people will be praising them I bet. The much maligned Houston Texans are contenders all of a sudden if they win at Kansas City on Sunday to reach their first AFC Championship game! Winning can change a negative perception.

The Rockets host the Timberwolves on Saturday afternoon at 4 PM. Maybe some home cooking is all we need.
