I’m not disputing that they’re better. They certainly are more talented now (it remains to be seen if Luka and Kyrie can co-exist on AND off the floor together)

But is it good enough to win a championship? Nope… and with that talent and not winning a chip, I think one of them will leave. Maybe both.

I don't understand the argument tho. They gave up a pick I'm 2029 and some random role players? And how can you argue they dont have enough to win a ship? They made pretty far last year and lost to the same team the Celtics did. Also not too mention... they got better. Like what would you recommend the mavs do, not make this trade(and get em for free)?

They also have all their first for the next 5 years, which they could use to get better this season lol
