Luka is a better floor raiser and ceiling raiser than Tatum. The Celtics would be better with Luka no doubts

Yeah him getting switched on defense would be soooooo good

Cunt was getting fried by Killian Hayes lmfao

Tatum is a great help defender but his on ball defense isn’t anything to write home on. Obviously having plus defenders everywhere on your team helps. It’s true that Luka needs to improve there but his gravity offensively is unmatched in the league… reminds me a lot of Bird

There's nothing you can say to Kim that will change his mind. He thinks Tatum is the best player in the league.

To his credit he admitted that Giannis is a better player. The MVP award is a different conversation because its driven by narrative. Jokic will struggle to win a 3rd MVP without the Finals success, he would have to be undeniably stronger across the board analytically and the fact is that he wont be. He will be razor thin with multiple other candidates so voter fatigue and narrative will disqualify him most likely. Right now the odds favor Curry, I’d take him at +850 with the stats he is putting up… better than his unanimous MVP season with the hardware to support winning again

He’s having the best season thus far but Giannis is the best. No doubt about it.

What? Tatum is a great defender in all aspects. We have no negative defenders in our usual rotation (even Hauser is extremely effective and he’d be our worst). Putting in a scarecrow like Luka would kill our entire system. Not to mention our insane ball movement would come to a grinding halt because Luka can’t play off the ball

Issue with Curry and Luka will be team success. NBA won't give the MVP award to someone unless they're basically top 4 seed.

Well team success is THE most important thing in basketball. It’s the most crucial measure. So that’s fair enough. That’s why it’s a 3 horse race between Tatum, Giannis and Booker imo.

Great teams can make a player look better than they are. Tatum is a perfect example. He'd NEVER have this sort of efficiency having to carry a team like Luka or even Curry do at this point. The guy isn't even being doubled.

Tatum just out there playing against one defender at a time with a team full of grrat defenders and another All-Star. Life is good for him for sure, and much easier than others.

One of the best players of all time? Probably not a bad bench mark
