The bet was that ben simmons would not play for the nets on his current contract. Preseaon vs regular season games were not specified.

Where’s the thread the bet was made?

Language may be arbitrary, it’s up to crunk if he wants to pay or not, and the point will likely be moot anyway since all signs point to Simmons suiting up in the regular season as well, but in my unbiased opinion I don’t count preseason

Sure but can we define a clear point of what I am saying.

I am betting that Simmons will be traded/ let go/injured etc. Any condition that leads to him being removed from the team before he checks into a game.

I am also referring specifically to Simmons being on the Nets right now in this instance on this contract. If he gets traded/leaves the league, then comes back and plays for the Nets on a new contract that doesn't not mean you win the bet. In this case I would have already won the bet at the time he left the Nets team.



Is everything clear? can you re cd ^IgoSohard with these clear terms? Apologies as I technically cdd but realize we need to make the betting terms clear

TL;DR:

If Ben Simmons checks into a game for the Nets on his current contract that is a result of todays trade. You Win. If he leaves the team for any reason and at any point is no longer a Net before checking in, I win.

Seems like he just said "a game," which includes preseason games to me. Preseason games are still games, even if they don't count toward the team's record. If anyone wanted specifically regular season games, they should have specified that in the terms.

Simmons is probably going to play reg. season anyway, so it'd just be delaying the inevitable to not send now.

I just feel like, if you’re being honest, when you think game you think regular season game. But maybe that’s just me.
