like it's pretty proven that donovan mitchell is not gonna make your team competitive in the playoffs.

he's a poor defender, and him and brunson would be a majorly undersized back court.

knicks are a 43-48 win team if they trade for him , and will not make it past the second round, if they ever advance past the first.

Raptors don't really need him so like unless we are getting him with picks n shit and garbage just to sweeten a Durant deal I don't really see a need for Mitchell In Toronto. Like I love the guy and yes he would probably be a better dude than GTJ on the court but lets get serious any better player starting or 6th man for the Raptors just means that Scott gets less ball time and that is no good.

seriously imagine the knicks, in the era of the positionless basketball with wings being the prototypical player, trading a 6'5 guy with 2-way potential who shot 38% from 3 as a rookie IN ADDITION to other future assets/young prospects, for a 6'1 guard who couldn't stop a nosebleed, TO PAIR WITH THEIR OTHER 6'1 GUARD
