any package they have would add Danny green as a gimme basically cash considerations worth nothing more so 500k. Basically just getting rid of him to dump salary cap as they paid what 20 mil worth of luxury this year or soemthing
I think their goal is to try and turn Tobias Harris’ contract, and whatever else they need to include, into a more impactful third player. Or, turn Harris into multiple rotation players with more reasonable cap hits. Whichever they can actually accomplish. Obviously, this won't be easy as teams likely view Harris (given his salary) as an overall negative.
Getting a good return back for him would likely mean the Sixers are attaching young players and/or draft assets (Not Tyrese Maxey), but the other players mentioned in these rumors. i.e Thybulle, Milton, Korkmaz, the 1st round pick. Whatever it may be
As far as who they go after (if they move Harris), I'm not sure. Beal was the main rumor for awhile but that's a long shot at this point as it seems he's staying in Washington. Not sure what other higher level players they're rumored to be interested in. Brian Windhorst put a report out like 1-2 months ago about them pursuing another star. But is that realistic? Who knows
For the general roster, I wouldn't mind them bringing in a guy like Gary Harris who is now a free agent. Decent 2 way player who can shoot the 3. Also someone like Donte DiVincenzo could help them, I believe he is a restricted free agent. Would like to see Andre Drummond come back on another 1 year deal too
