Jrue is definitely better offensively but let’s not act like smart is just a bum beside defense. He’s an amazing passer and a streaky shooter. Just had 24/9/13 in the last game

Bruh draymond is not bad on offense lol, he’s a subpar scorer, but there is a lot more to offense than being a great individual scorer.

Jrue absolutely on both their level defensively. But the DPOY is all about the hype train every year. Simmons would have easily ran away with dpoy if he had the season he had last year this season (if he played rofl). Timing was perfect for Smart, he wasn't anything all that special to deserve it more than Simmons was last year but everyone was tired of Gobert wining lmao.

Sure, but he’s also really good at initiating and directing the offense, passing, pushing the fast break, etc. and he has shown that in key moments/games he can score it, he’s just never been consistent relied on for it because of the guys around him. Not saying he’d be a 20 ppg guy on another team or anything, just saying his numbers don’t tell the whole story

Think he was top 5 or 6 in assists a couple seasons ago
