New Balance 624's aka King of the Cookout aka Lawn Cutter 5000's

Approved by Dad's all around the world

Good for when you gotta go from grill master chef to chef curry at the family gathering.

My podiatrist recommends NB for everything but idk what models would be good for bball. I’m tipping the kawhi signature? He wouldn’t fuck around with shit shoes

I've not tried their basketball shoes, but new balance are the most comfortable shoes I've owned. Started wearing them a couple years ago and haven't bought anything else since. I will say they do wear down slightly faster than the couple pairs of Nikes I had previously.

Do reverse shin raises with dumbells to get rid of shin spints, etc.

NOT NIKES

I’m done with Nikes and their shoes with absolutely terrible foot support.

Need a good recommendation of something that’s a really comfy fit, supportive (although pref flat soles as I have orthotics), and doesn’t look absolute trash (brooks and fila’s)

Thinking adidas, UA or NB might have something that fits the description?

The Balance two is what you want to get.

Kawhi's shoe is a balance 2 special edition

so either get any variation of the Balance Two or just get Kawhis because the Kawhis look pretty sick. The shoes themselves are a little flamboyant but if you can rock them then its gg

Whats special about Kawhis is the ankle support

Nikes are literally the worst brand of shoe if you ask ask any podiatrist

Terrible support, and terrible cushion

I’m over looking good on the court… I just want them career saver shoes now

Ty everyone else. Will probably look into kawhis

If they tell you not to wear the cheap stuff like Kyrie flytraps or whatnot, that's one thing, but you're talking to some pretty dumb podiatrist if they're recommending you against a whole brand.

Good luck on your search fam. If Nike hurt your fam or sth, then give the Curry 9s a try if you aren't a heavy dunker.

My most comfortable shoes:
1. Kobe 6 (Nike)
2. Kobe AD NXT (Nike)

I wouldn’t say ALL Nike are terrible, but for the most part they are definitely marketed well above the actual quality of shoe. They mostly always look dope, but for pure comfort, cushion, support and construction quality they are usually down the line from other brands

Hmmmm yes for the most part they are, and unfortunately I’m putting myself in that bracket now. I gotta put my pride aside and go down the path of the “career prolongers” or else my legs are gonna be terps’d in no time

IN SAYING THAT, NB do make some pretty sick running shoes, but yeah the ones that are really good for your legs are the grandpa style ones

It is what it is
