But the smart ones know that's stupid to trade when he's at his lowest value. It can only go up, he's already at rock bottom right now and there's no reason not to just wait until an opportunity strikes (which it will). NBA always has star players looking for trades or front offices looking to improve their mediocre teams every season. Simmons has already been fined about $10M and counting, he's paying the price (literally).

Plus, the league would never let the Sixers give Simmons what he wants. It would set such a bad tone for the league for future players to pull the same shit.
