I dont think its a Blame AD situation I think that before the season started with all the the vets that the lakers took on it seemed clear that Lebron wasn't aiming for a Title this year. I truly don't think he believes his team is any better this year than it was when they won two years ago.

And I can secede that 2020 wasn't an optimal standard basketball season in the NBA... But If you watched those Playoffs AD was pretttyyy fucking good. AD is a really good basketball player and assuming injury prone wasn't a thing I would choose AD over Embiid simply because AD is actually the best big man on any floor he is standing on, Maybe Embiid has slightly better handles... But he can't explode like AD.

You have to consider the players position. a real 5 can only do so much. yes he can adapt PF roles and he can handle the ball so you see him able to stretch his impact but a 5 can only do so much. You can't blame the guy for being a 'Robin' when he is literally the position on the floor that is meant to do the sidekick cleanup work that no one else can do. AD is better than Dame, but Dame is in the star position. I would say we need to fully consider everything involved and the players position in this case does have an iompact on their perceived heirarchy and impact on the game. FOR EXAMPLE. Tim Duncan.Consider him as a 5 man. Duncan never single handedly ran the team, everyone on SA was a Robin to Pop, so are we going to do a 5 pager on why Duncan was a bitch? No. Because its the system. The same logic applies in this case. AD could not carry NWO because the games meta has evolved over the last 30 years from the influence of unstoppable big men like SHaq, Hakeem, Ming, Duncan... That its impossible for a 5 to solo carry a team. Thats why NWO wanted Chris Paul to stay cuz they woudl get AD, thats why The lakers didnt want NWO to keep Chris Paul. AD at least doesn't have conditioning issues like Embiid

another thing is if AD isn't feeling it with his shot, he won't keep jacking up shots to save energy like Embiid does frequently in the playoffs. its a big reason the 76ers lost to the Hawks, Embiid would get gassed and take lazy floaters/shots around the restricted area instead of finishing above the rim

Good thing AD getting his annual 2 months off injury now so that he will be solid for the Playoffs.

Embiid needs to have one of those pretty soon if He is going to be good come playoff time. And he needs to not eat Cheetos and Text on instagram the whole 2 months neither.
