2nd round picks are definitely valuable in todays NBA. The pool to draft from is bigger than ever before, and while the number of 2nd rounders making a rotation isn't as high as first rounders (obviously) it's still higher than it used to be when the talent pool was smaller.

These days guys are being scouted from every damn corner of the world because of social media and technology. Shit, they could add a third round pretty soon :rofl:

G-League is on the rise as well.

It'll happen. Not anytime soon, but eventually. The game is evolving too much, players are better now and more skilled than ever before and the competition is so much more difficult with more people available to be drafted.
