I love this team and the way they're playing, but they'll still need that veteran All-Star caliber vet at PG not named Ben Simmons. Whoever it is, they'll need them. Maxey is balling out but he's only 20 and in his second season, and isn't really a true floor general (at least not yet). We gotta love what we're seeing from him 15/4/3 on 52% FG but he's not the answer there yet, he's best fit at his age/experience to be coming off the bench still.

Embiid isn't even needing to carry the load. He continues to put up a career low FGA and PPG as well as a career low USG% at 31.9%. The ball movement, the shooting efficiency, everything has been clicking so far.

Best winning percentage in the East, never thought they had it in them this year (though it’s early). It’s been a great start to the season. Hope it lasts
