If we're actually just talking about basketball skill, Kobe is a more skilled scorer than MJ and KD and he's a better defender than MJ. MJ didn't have to guard anywhere near the competition that Kobe did and Kobe still ended up with more first all NBA defensive teams than MJ. KD is the most efficient scorer of all time but I wouldn't say he's the best pure scorer - it may be a distinction without a different to some but I think it would come down to how you define pure scorer; to me Kobe is more skilled, has way more moves to get his shot, can score in more ways than anyone ever. KD is the most efficient and scores with ease but he's never put up the actual scoring totals that Kobe did.
