That backup center spot is critical, without question lol. They got good production out of Dwight last year (he was a monster on the glass) and they're filling that void with Drummond who is a similar player and will play a similar role.

Backup center spot on the Sixers is simple really....be ready to play 10-15 minutes a game when Embiid is out for rest, and be ready to start the 10-20 games that Embiid is out with injury or rest. The role is defined and we saw how successful it was with Howard last year, it'll be the same with Drummond this year.
