Strong work. Its not that hard to keep things clear; even with ingame bets. Know what you want, post what you want, and make shit clear without taking shortcuts.

Disappointing that the years of established rules are not getting more consideration from the mod team here, the rules are written this way for a reason and it's discouraging that something so blatantly clear was not a bet is being upheld as one in their eyes. Respect to Kevin for putting in the time to consider the options, disappointed with the ruling through. On the other side, eerock handled this poorly, Izzo made it very easy for him to do so but with the power he has to have someone locked that quickly, he did not wield it properly. Ls across the board, eat shit Megatroniks.
There is a reason our list has always been unofficial. It isn't our right to force our rules on everybody. I agree that the mods could have handled this better but they don't have to just agree with our perspective because we've been doing it like this forever.
And tbh, I do agree with the mods. I always thought having a double c'd was bullshit and I tried to fight that and "a/c" when people first started doing it. If you offer a clear bet and someone takes it, it should be a bet. If you change your mind on a bet, go back and retract with another post (or make a very clear edit with a timestamp). But in the end, I gave up because thats what people wanted to do and I just posted everything clear.
I'll just leave this here though:

This isn't how you must do bets, it's just a guide for making your bets clear and understood so there's no confusion.
Remember: ALL BETS ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Sure, scammers may get some wrath from me, but jsp is under NO obligation to take any action so don't cry if scammed. I suggest you use a medi and tip them well. ;)
1.) Keep it simple. No offense, but jsp is full of idiots.
2.) If a bet needs to be confirmed, post it in the betting thread where everyone can see. (I'd quote the bet as well...)PMs show nothing.
3.) Make your terms clear and well ahead of time.
i.e. NEEDS to be mediatored, fg sent first, tie on the spread (which no real bookie ever does BTW), odds, etc...
4.) If you win a bet, give the guy some time to pay. Every now and then a jsp user will actually have a life elsewhere.
5.) Have fun and be a good sport about it. It's only fg, you can't take it to the 7-11 and buy candy and soda with it.
Bets that don't need to be confirmed IMO are like if some ones says:
1st five are there, easy enough.
Of course confirming never hurts, but it's pretty freaking obvious the guy wants 5 bets, so...
I will add more as (if) necessary.
