He needs to go to a small market team where there's less pressure and the expectations aren't so high. The big city pressure isn't his thing. He's too laid back to handle the North East.

Tired of him not showing any emotion on the court. Dude looks like he isn't even playing in an NBA game with his blank stare, it's like he's just at the Y having fun getting some run in.

Sixers should give up whatever Portland wants for Lillard.

Simmons, Maxey, Thybulle, Shake, firsts... fuck it you go all in for Embiids prime

Lillard is a dream scenario, he'd be perfect for Philly. Just need that cold blooded closer at guard that can take over games whenever and hit the big shots and create. Him and Embiid would be a pretty sick pairing.

Don't think Morey is giving up Simmons, Thybulle, Maxey and first round picks for him though lol. That's a bit much for sure.

It’s nowhere close to Simmons 1 for 1 anymore. I remember Philly fans laughed at Simmons for Booker straight up 2 years ago, that was the deal to pull the trigger on

Embiids prime is a second round exit to Atlanta or Toronto should dump everything just get rid of Embiid and trade away all the good assets for sure

I'd be okay with throwing extra in with Simmons, but not Maxey, Thybulle AND multiple first round picks lol. That's so excessive for a guy on the wrong side of 30.

Keep in mind that age plays a huge part here too. Lillard is 30 with 9 seasons played, Simmons is 24 with 4 seasons played. While Lillard is obviously the better player now with more value, he'll be on the decline in a few years while Simmons will just be hitting the start of his prime years.

I have full trust in Morey though, he'll get it done the right way. Thank god he's here, because lord knows anyone else we've had calling the shots would fuck it up. Like I said before, I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see Simmons still in Philly to start the season.

Your response makes me believe that you still think Simmons has any sort of value in trade

Lillard is a high quality 1st team All-NBA guard with leadership, clutch, and durability intangibles. He isn’t going to be cheap especially since he has a guaranteed contract for multiple seasons. Most people think AD went on the cheap side because NO got backed into a corner with AD being set on LA. AD went for Ball, Ingram, Hart, and picks. Ingram and Simmons are not that dissimilar in value at this stage

I’d expect it would take Middleton + Holiday to get a deal done (multiple teams involved to get young assets/picks for Portland)

Bro...Anthony Davis was what, 25 or 26 years old when he was traded to LA? Of course it took a lot more to get him lol. Lillard is 31 already, that's quite a difference. Lillard won't come cheap, he's an MVP caliber player, but the difference between trading for a guy in his mid 20's and trading for a 31 year old is drastic.

And at the time of trading him, Ingram was sort of shit. He was nowhere near as accomplished as Simmons is.

NO was forced to deal with LA. Lillard might not be that much of a prick to Portland which would create a bidding war.

McCollum would be moved before him.
