McCollum posted a 57.7% TS this season, and for his career he's at 55.3% TS. This season (his HIGHEST scoring season of his career) he averaged 1.23 points per shot attempt.


Better scorer? Certainly. More efficient? No chance.

DM... Rudy Gobert is more efficient than Simmons. That's not exactly the argument you want to make when talking about player vs player on scoring. Being able to actually score at will actually means something. TS% is overrated in this scenario.

That's what i'm talking about here. And yes, Gobert is an incredibly efficient scorer. It doesn't mean he's a better scorer, but efficient? Yes.

But like I said, Simmons TS% is higher. He's more efficient, there is no arguing that.

Is he a better scorer than McCollum? Absolutely not lol. But he's more efficient, in large because he doesn't take a lot of shots and when he does they're high %.

Especially in 4th quarters of playoff games.
