It's not cool to use slurs but you also shouldn't lose your career cuz of it. Wanting to do that to someone is 100x worse than raging and using a slur.

When playing CoD or similar games, part of the fun is just saying shocking things (like slurs). There's like a one second moment after you die when your opponent can hear what you say. So you might drop a quick invective for fun.
