Jokic is the better individual player

He doesn't change the game like Embiid does.

We all know Embiid plays and the Sixers can beat anyone. When he sits, well the Sixers look like a lottery team. Although that Pacers comeback the other night was a good start to prove they're half decent without Embiid.

He just makes them so elite defensively and completely changes their offensive output.

Jokic already beat the Clippers as the #1 option down 3-1 which is a feat greater than anything Embiid has accomplished in his career

since I know you'll be eager to say this, it's a feat greater than anything Giannis has achieved in the post season as well

Jokic did? Or the Nuggets did? Last time I checked he wasn't alone, I'm pretty sure Jamal Murray going ham in the playoffs and dropping 40 in game 7 had something to do with that...

But is beating the Clippers last year an accomplishment? They were not that good, and in their first year together. Look what happened to Denver in the WCF's lmao...

And ill take the Sixers pushing the actual champs in 2019 to a game 7 buzzer beater. An actually good playoff team.

If we're being real here, the Sixers run in the 2019 playoffs going toe to toe with the eventual champs was better than anything Jokic and the Nuggets have done.

Kawhi is a champion and worthy on the Raptors but not on the Clippers?

You're so fucking biased it's ridiculous

We are talking about TEAMS here...I never said anything about Kawhi.

Kawhi was incredible with the Raptors and that team was legit as fuck, obviously.

Clippers were a cluster fuck last season bro. Not even remotely close to a real contender and PG looked like shit too.

That 2019 Raptors team > last years Clippers team

Not even a comparison lol

you're talking out of your ass. the Clippers had 2 6MOTY candidates, an MVP #1 option and a second #1 option as their #2. just because they underperformed/choked doesn't mean the talent wasn't there

Yeah idc about talent being there, they were a cluster fuck...and had major chemistry issues.

Any time you throw multiple superstars on the same team together (a new team) there is a transition period. The Clippers were a mess last season. Yeah they won games on talent but they had so many holes and had HORRIBLE chemistry with serious locker room issues...

Again, we saw what Denver did when they faced the eventual champs. They got smoked 4-1.

the Raptors added Gasol and Kawhi that year which is what made them so good, you're literally contradicting your own theory here

plus they only won the chip because Durant AND Klay got injured

if there was ever an NBA Finals series we were robbed of, it's full strength Warriors vs Raps

the Cavs missing Love and Kyrie is probably a close second

They added Kawhi...they already had Lowry, and Siakam broke out to a star that season as well. Not to mention the depth they had...

Come on man 😭
