When playing under Doc Rivers (Clippers from 2017-2019, and now the Sixers in 2020-21), Tobias Harris is shooting 43% from 3-point range in 94 games.

I have every reason to believe he can flirt with 50/40/90 type of production at 20 PPG as he did before in LA for two seasons.

Doc knows how to utilize him, unlike Brett Brown.

Just like Philly lost in the 1st or 2nd round of the playoffs before "trust the process".
Simply because as constructed Philly will go as far as Embiid will take them.
He might have a really good game. Dropping 34 in the playoffs. But with his talent level he should be dropping 40 or 50 in the playoffs. A long with locking up the paint on both ends.
Embiid acts like he's better than Prime Duncan.
When really while he's got the talent level to be better than Prime Duncan. Old man Duncan is where he plays at.

What should've happened is Philly a few years ago when AD wanted out. Philly should've offered the Pelicans Embiid + pick for AD.
AD + Simmons would've won a ring already.

They also had Brett Brown as their head coach, and terrible spacing still. That was also two years ago when Simmons was only 21/22 years old and only his second season.

As good as Butler is, he's not a floor spacer and his 3pt shooting is below average. He was a good closer, but both Embiid and Simmons have matured since then too and handle those big moments a lot better.

Plus, Doc Rivers version of Tobi is an All-Star. With Tobi playing at a high level again under a real HC and actual spacing and shooters around them (Curry shooting a career high scoring at a career high clip) there's no reason they can't make a great run for the Finals.

I'd love to see a Finals matchup against the Lakers. Simmons has defended LeBron extremely well in their matchups and the same goes for Embiid against AD (AD cant defend Embiid they rarely put AD on him).

Simply put, the Sixers aren't offering Embiid for anyone lol. Stop it. Both are great players but there's no reason to make that offering. He loves it in Philly and he looks to be in the best shape of his life playing at the highest level we've seen him play at on both ends of the floor. Plus, him and Simmons are producing great numbers when they share the floor together.

Simmons has won 50+ games in 2 of his 3 NBA seasons. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
