Last night the Milwaukee Bucks had a kind of game Crazy Stats loves. Here is the summary:
- they made a record 29 three-pointers!!! The previous record for 3's in a game was 27, set by the Rockets in 2019. Milwaukee's previous most was 22 (2018)
- it was the first instances (out of 109) in league history of a team attempting 50 or more 3s in a regular-season game and shot 50% or better on those attempts (they made 56.9% on Tuesday)
- it was the highest road win in Bucks history, topping the 39-point margin at New York in 1987
- the Bucks also set a record with the most different players making a 3-pointer with 12. The only Bucks player to play in the game and not knock down a trey was Giannis Antetokounmpo
- but the biggest surprise was Antetokounmpo, who finished with only 9 points. His streak of 108 consecutive regular-season games (and 132 overall) with at least 10 points ended. The last time he scored under double digits was Dec. 22, 2018, also against the Heat.
Jrue and Middleton were killing it, we already know Giannis can take over. Having Holiday facilitate and knock down shots is huge for this teams ceiling
