Recency bias mate

He took a big step back, particularly in the bubble.. injuries lingered throughout the season for him also

Realistically, he just played far fewer minutes per game (under 30 a game) and took a lot less shots per game (16.3 FGA) compared to the previous season (21 FGA).

But yeah, the injury aspect and fit on a new team with a player like Kawhi next to him definitely made things weird. I would expect him to bounce back nicely though.

pg is nice and still only 30

this is a good deal, maybe by year 4 he won't be worth $50 mil but for now he definitely is, and if the clippers want to stay in contention and continue to be an attractive free agency destination they have to do right by their players.

The Clippers needed to make this deal, cannot take the risk of both Leonard and PG leaving after this season given how many picks they gave up to get him.

You can’t trade 18 first round picks for a player and then risk the possibility of him leaving for nothing after 2 seasons. That being said PG has the Harden choker gene with like half the talent. Dudes been coasting on his indiana days for like 5 years now.

WHY do people act like his Indiana days were his best days???

He had a MONSTER MVP season just a year ago in 2018-19 with OKC which was far and away his best season.. Averaged 28 PPG which was #2 in the league behind only Harden. He literally averaged career highs across the board in every stat that season lol. 1st team All-NBA, 1st team All-Defense.

Paul GEorge is half the player Kawhi is and he is getting paid basically double. LOL.

Guaranteed This season ends up being a shit show except this time they actually lose the first round and Kawhi leaves and Lou retires

How’d he do when the games actually counted? Bodied by an injured Portland team in the first round. The guy sucks when games matter. Russell westbrick averaged unheard of numbers in okc also, how’d that go for them

Cuz those Pacers were the eastern conference desperate hope to beat Lebron so he got a good spotlight as opposed to OKC where they were never really that important
