The guy shoots about 40% from 3 and gets about 22-23 ppg so it's not like it isn't working for him.

He lost a couple of steps with his major injury and then he got a step back and now he's maybe a half step back from that. He doesn't like to be a #2 option but if he wants to carry the ball then he needs to step up and show that he's the main guy or at least someone who will do a little more. I'm a big fan of his game but he's whining.

I'm not sure I understand where you get the idea that he "lost a couple steps" after his major injury before the 2014-15 season though?

He literally came back and was better than ever, and then had a legit MVP caliber season (finished 3rd in voting) in 2018-19 in OKC where he averaged career highs in points, rebounds, assists, and steals.

He came back better but slower. I think he returned with purpose but I don't think he ever fully recovered from that injury. He got faster as he recovered but he never returned to his original level of explosiveness. And at this stage I think he's started to slow down a bit ... but that happens to every player. Lebron has lost a step or two, but at his size, he's still incredibly mobile. So I'm not saying that PG is slow.
