I honestly don't see him staying in Houston. I'd trade him now for Ben Simmons. Start the quick rebuild.
I'd also trade Russell Westbrook to the Knicks in a three-team trade. Get more picks and young players.

The alternative is pretty dire. Harden and Westbrook both opt out after two more seasons.
Covington is also a free agent that same off-season. P.J. Tucker and Eric Gordon are old.

We have little draft picks due to the Westbrook for CP3 trade. I don't want a brutal rebuild in two years!
I'd rather start the rebuild now. Bring in Ben Simmons and a healthy amount of picks and young guys.

Any smart general manager would be proactive, but unfortunately we no longer have Daryl Morey. The 76ers are golden, IMO.

The Bucks, in all likelihood, had an easier chance to reach the Finals last season as appose to this coming season. Assuming they don’t make a dramatic roster change
