Would make more sense if they had not just fired a terrible coach, hired a well respected proven HC and also hired one of the best front office executives in the league.

Lebron is pissed also nba lost alot of money last season and is cutting nba players paychecks by what 40% its crazy and i bet the NFL is going to be the same way.. Why even worry about having a season when you are losing more money than you are making and forcing the players to play for less while they are putting themselves at risk

Nearly half the teams in the NBA lost money back in 2017, well before covid-19.

Injuries could play a bigger factor this year so depth might be more valuable than ever to load manage stars like Kawhi and LeBron especially
