Embiid has shown no evidence of having longevity. He hasn’t had a single season where he is conditioned for enduring a full season + deep run

the 76ers are more in win-now so long as Embiid is healthy

Last season (2018-19 I mean) he played just shy of 80% of the games in the regular season and then played 31 MPG in the playoffs and in the EC Semi's against the Raptors he played 34 minutes a game through the 7 game series (including all but 1 minute played in game 7).

Many of the games he sat that season were just rest too, not even injury.

I don't understand why some people seem to still think Embiid can't handle the season. Yes he does still need to improve his consistent conditioning but this guy just averaged 30/12 in the playoffs this season playing over 36 minutes a game. Is he the most durable? No, but he's also not as fragile as some people make him out to be lol

Embiid scored more post-up points by himself than any other entire TEAM in the league. He's going to bang in the post and get injuries from time to time because of that but overall he is better now than he was when he first came i to the league as far as injury prone.

The fact that Horford was so heavily valued speaks volumes to what your own teams management thinks about his durability

To be fair, that's because the Sixers fell off a cliff when Embiid stepped off the floor. It was so bad they had absolutely no other bigs that held it down when he was resting.

Embiid was +12 in that game 7 in a game they lost by 2 points to the Raptors...and he played all but 2 1/2 minutes of that game lol. He had insane on/off splits that series too it was just dumb how bad they were without him.
