James Harden is not worth giving anything up for. Dude is a bona fide choker who's game doesn't work in the playoffs

i'll be the first to admit I'll homer the fuck outta Harden if the Bucks do pull off a stunning trade like that

Giannis and harden in the pick and roll would be disgusting, but when the playoffs come around and defense gets tight Harden will revert to ISO trash and Giannis still can't shoot

all they have to do is pass it to Giannis either on the block or even all the way out to the 3 point line, if he gets to the key most of the time there is 3+ collapsing on him

Harden would routinely find himself getting wide open 3s

I doubt Houston ever gets an offer they see as enough to trade away Harden

Houston's best offer could come from Boston but I don't see that happening.

Maybe Lebron will rig something up :D

Houston won't let him go unless they get blown away with a trade offer.

Hou couldn't really properly tank/rebuild even if they wanted to

traded away a lot of picks with minimal or no protection so there's no point in tanking.

All I know is James Harden can opt out and become an unrestricted free agent in two years.
The Rockets would be wise to trade him either now or next summer. We need value for him.

I agree. Same situation the Texans are in. Which is sad! But they can get a leg up on a rebuilding plan by stripping down payroll and trading our best players. Once we get past the James Harden and Russell Westbrook supermax contracts, aka caps off at $47M a year apiece. The Rockets can easily rebuild with a ton of financial flexibility. We got three years left with Harden and Russ, but like I mentioned Harden can opt out in two years and skip that third year. Which he'll likely do chasing one more massive multi-year contract.
