Orlando Shaquille would have no fucking problem defending the pick and roll and he averaged 29.3 PPG & 13 boards a game. Foh. Comparing him when he got older and fatter. He made 3x all defensive teams as well on the Lakers.

You must have never watched him defend in Orlando, he was horrible against the P&R and pretty much anytime he stepped away from the rim. His lateral movement was awful...even if he was athletic for a big guy.

I mean he's the most dominant inside player of all time, but todays game doesn't favor that soooo....

I guess Shaqs horrible is fucking Embiids best. In their first 4 seasons Shaq has a higher DWS (18 vs 11 for Embiid) & better Defensive Rating than Embiid through his first 4. All while destroying him in just about every other category offensively.

It can still be done, dominating inside. Giannis and Simmons are great examples
